By the end of 2025, you will be able to buy eye drops that correct near vision without glasses!
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has recently approved a new eye drop called VIZZ, which has brought new hope for people suffering from age-related near vision loss (presbyopia).
It has been developed by LENZ Therapeutics. Used once a day, this drop can restore clear near vision for up to 10 hours, allowing adults to read or do close work without depending on reading glasses.
Unlike older treatments, VIZZ preserves distance vision and avoids severe side effects. It slightly constricts the pupil to create a “pinhole effect,” which naturally sharpens focus.
VIZZ is set to hit the market by the end of 2025.
It is being hailed as a major advancement in eye care that could change the daily lives of millions.
"Slow Eating Habits Linked to Lower Obesity Risk, Study Finds"

A Japanese study published in the BMJ Open journal analyzed five years of health check-up and insurance data from about 60,000 Japanese people with type 2 diabetes.
During the health check-ups, participants were asked about their lifestyle habits—such as whether they ate quickly, at a normal speed, or slowly; whether they regularly ate snacks after dinner; whether they skipped breakfast; or whether they finished eating within two hours before going to bed.
Researchers found that those who ate at a normal speed were 29% less likely to be obese compared to fast eaters. Those who ate slowly saw even better results—their likelihood of obesity was 42% lower than that of fast eaters.
Slow eaters also had, on average, lower BMI (Body Mass Index) and smaller waist measurements.
Researchers further found that changes in eating habits—such as eating slowly, avoiding snacks after dinner, and not eating before bedtime—were strongly linked to reduced obesity, lower BMI, and smaller waist size. See my recommendations
